A Pastor’s
Wife, Bible Teacher, Inspirational Speaker and Leader, Karen is passionate about helping women find their purpose and voice in today's culture. She speaks across generational, diversity and denominational lines with the clear message of the Gospel.
Background:
Karen was born in Minneapolis, MN and grew up in Rockford, IL. She graduated from Swedish Covenant Hospital and North Park College, now University,
with a BSN. Married to Alan Hearl, from Sacramento, CA, while he was a student at Fuller
Seminary in Pasadena, CA.
Eldest son, David Alan is a graphic designer and musician. After years with Sonicflood and Big Tent Revival, he's also played with Point of Grace, FFH among others. Married to Tamara Dadd, they are parents of sons,
Will & Beckett, and live in Brentwood, TN. Youngest son, Tim, lives in Northern CA where he is sales manager for Del
Webb SunCity, Lincoln Hills. Married to Lisa Puthuff, they are the parents of Kirsten and Brock.
Alan and Karen have served pastorates in PA, MN, CA, and CT. Recently retired as Senior Pastor of Trinity Covenant Church, Manchester, CT (1994-2004) they have relocated to Lincoln, CA (north of Sacramento). Karen is currently enrolled in the MACL program at Fuller Seminary.
